Has anyone bought a watch from Amazon UK that comes from a seller in the USA? I am aware that if I buy a watch on eBay I may pay an import customs fee but I wondered if the price shown on Amazon with postage would include any import fees. Cheers

Back from Mehiiico today. Left all the Gs at home and took the Phys. What a great little watch it is. I wore it in the sea and in the pool. Snorkelling, climbing a Mayan temple. Running, walking...the lot. It's strongest feature aside from the 50m water resistance was it displayed dual time...

No pics as I'm at work but gone with my GW-3500 today as it's my last day wearing a G for a couple of weeks. Decided not to take any with me to Mexico. However, I'll probably take both my non-G Casio models.

Ouch. I expected the GW-A1000 to be on par with the Edifice equivalents. Guess I'll hold off for now.

Do you have any tools so you can do it yourself? I did mine in no time. Don't forget the bracelet clasp has 1/3rd increment holes in too so one link extra might be a bit too loose but a fine tune with the 1/3rd holes can make a big difference.

I nearly bought an Edifice with the SmartAccess system so to see the same technology in a G model is great. This will be on my wanted list for sure but I dare say the price will be very steep.

I bought my GW-3500B with the resin strap as it was much cheaper than the metal bracelet equivalent. Beware that if you do buy the metal bracelet and your a desk user during the day it may suffer from wear. They do look very nice though. I contemplated the same thing as you...so in essence it...

Welcome. These watches can take a bit of a battering. I watched a few YouTube videos of some testing and I was more surprised than I expected as to how tough they can be.

Last week (Weds) I got the GW-2310 in the post for an excellent price and on Saturday my GW-6900 arrived too. The GW-6900 is my current fave.......although I change my mind but it's good to do that.

Nice collection. My next watch will be a GW-9300 but all the shops have sold out so hopefully there maybe one in stock when I come back from my hols at the end of the month.
