I only got mine on Friday, and haven't yet had a chance to completely take it in, but I can say it looks way better in the flesh rather than the pics :)

When you're designing for any company, there's sure to be many guidelines to follow, so yeah. As for it being a 6900, I believe that was decided before I was on board. People complain about that style, but you have to remember, it's popular, they have colors and its easy to work with. In my opinion, I love the style, I think they could do more with different casing, packaging to drive home the collectibility and value of the watch.
