I have the same idea about my G's:when i can mod them the way i like,i do:few modification (bezel or band,sometime positive to negative display) just to look at them with my taste!
Like you said:after that,they are "unique" :)

Nice. It's a good thing casio continued the 82xx line with matching dimensions. And great that you can still get hold of real black resin :)

My only slight issue are those super long buttons on the left of 82xx cases meaning that you have to stretch your bezels more than you do with other models, might be a bit harsh on the old and often irreplaceable resin!

For the really old 8200 models, better don't remove the old bezel. I mod a lot of my 8200 as I bought them in 2nd hand condition with used bezels and bands. Prices are not cheap but I like the frogman 8200 a lot. They look much better after changing into DW8200BK clothes. LOL!

Just a word of advice: best not to touch the bezels of old watches. Any watches more than 5 years old should be left alone if possible.
