Red star on white blizzard

Hi everybody,
Does anyone can explain me the meaning of red star(s) number over white Blizzard dial series ?

Seem to recall this may have come up before. Either way I've no idea and would like to know

The stars most recently appeared in the army green KG series... There was a different number of stars on every different model just to indicate it was part of the series, so the king was 1 star, 2 for the 7900, 3 for the 6900 and 4 for the 5610...

a bit like players' shirt numbers on the same team - pretty cool

I love the stars on both my army green Gs. They look more military style. Lol.
