Rangeman LCD Contrast

Hi all,

New here. Just got my first g-shock - a rangeman.

I have noticed that the LCD contrast varies greatly depending on the angle you're viewing it from. It's not super dark when viewing it straight on, but it's fine at some angles. This is especially obvious with little ambient light using the backlight.

Is this normal?

Otherwise, this watch is perfect.

You may have to reset the module if this continues to happen. Go to my profile and look up in my history how to reset the module. I have step by step instructions on how to do this on the GW-9400-1. The article includes pictures which will help you see the display as you go through the procedure.
