In my opinion, you'd better choose the second one with its black dial.
Better contrast between hands and dial makes the watch more 'readable'...

Yeah I wish the hands on the yellow face were red. Being white makes them hard to see.

Here is what I did with the black and blue hand watch. The yellow used to be in the gloss white band setup. Torn!
