I've been checking out this watch, but most places sell the watch for 2X the suggested price.

Where can I find one?

There were 1,000 total worldwide. At this point you will have to get lucky while "hunting" one if you want.

US Mainland here. East Coast.

I wouldn't expect to get too close to US retail. That was lowest in the world. UK retail was something like £1100

I saw one from Japan. OMG, it is about $2200. About double the price.

If you are willing to exercise some patience and can wait, they will eventually come down in price; at least to a price which maybe a little more reasonable.
