Is my Gshock 110-RG genuine?

Hi, is my G-shock genuine? I have doubts bec. it's cased in china and the stainless steel at the end of of the bracelet has the word china. Thanks.

Nice G, looks 100% genuine to me. Lots of Gs are produced outside Japan these days.

Np. The main giveaway is normally the LCD digits (less so with this model obv) and the fact the fakes look a bit sh*t generally. You can get the idea in the wiki guide > How to identify a Fake G-Shock which does need some work...

The clones have usually got an intentional hard-to-spot misprint, this be the case on most brands, on yours it would say something like casio gshork or gsnork, laugh, you may but thats the sad if not slightly amusing scandal these days

Hi bluerotkev. Is it safe to use isopropyl rubbing alcohol when cleaning white g-shock straps and bezel? I just dip it in cotton balls and I do this everyday. Thanks.

IPA is fine because of its alcohol purity, it also evaporates extremely quickly without leaving a cack residue!!

I use Maguires body polish stage 1 on mine, it works a blessing on the Land Rover and equally as well with stainless steel!!
