Another long awaited arrival of my 51st G-Shock:

25th Anniversary of G-Shocks – "Project Team Tough"
This limited edition model was released to commemorate the 25th anniversary of G-Shock. Only 2008 units were manufactured and each has a unique serial number engraved on the solid case back.
The 25th Anniversay "Project Team Tough" is presented in a carbon fiber look packaging and trunk case with gold accents. The DW-5025SP continues the theme with IP gold - pushers, solid screwback case, buckle - and text. What I really love about this limited edition is the liquid crystal mesh that gives the LCD display great depth on the gold background.
I was bitten by the "square" bug with the GW-5000 and was seeking out other classic squares which had the same quality and solid feeling that you get with a screwback.
Couple of weeks ago the 5000SP 20th Anniversary arrived and now the 5025SP joins it's made. I've given up the hunt for the DW-1983-1 for now, ROFL and dreaming on what's to come for G-Shock's 30th Anniversary.
