Fake GX-56??

Probably. A little hard to tell from the images, however only seen that coloured LCD on the fake GX-56, don't think Casio have ever sold them in that colour.

the LCD is what is troubling me as well.... and yeah the quality sucks.

The watch is apparently Multiband 6 according to the second picture. That would make it a GXW-56, surely the seller would have noticed this if the watch was genuineand he was reading the model number of the watch back or hang tag.

The tin is no longer a reliable indicator of authenticity, have seen the occasional auction on eBay for empty tins.
