Its been around for a bit.. Retails for around $1000USD. The GPS works with the Atomic clock to keep accurate time. Designed for those areas were the atomic signal is not accessible... I believe it consumes too much power to be Tough Solar..

Anything with a compass feature would be handy. For me the GW3500 is my travel watch, easily switched between time zone.

Considering this GW2310FB for a kick around watch in all digital. Tough solar and Atomic time. My other consideration is the 9300 Mudman .. What are your opinions on these 2 watches?

This is a great watch for travellers as the GPS will also auto adjust when traveling through different times zones. $1000 is not bad compared to the $2700 for the Seiko.

I can try and help out some but I only have one G..... For now. You guys will get bored of me posting the same watch everyday LOL. The only other watch I wear is a Citizen Skyhawk.

The GW3500B-1A for me. My 1 and only G (for now) and my Daily. I would like to mod it with different band and bezel but finding these parts is proving to be a challenge here in Canada.

So there is a UK version of the GW3500 (GW3500BD-1AER) and GW3000 that is sold with a Black stainless steel band. I have searched and I am unable to find a part# or distributor. Does Anyone know where i may acquire this watch band? Thanks in advance...

From what I've read the solar power system is not capable of producing and maintaining the power level required to continually run these functions. A long life lithium or Alkaline battery is more capable of maintaining output. There was a write up in regards to the new GWP1000 with GPS...
