Is the domestic iphone app the same as the one offered on the G-Shock Japan site? iphone app sounds cool and a step up from the Android app. Also with your iphone4s you should be able to use the upcoming Bluetooth GB-6900 :D

I'd not assume that at all ;) I'd go with the eBay seller out of the two. That way you can see feedback plus have comeback via eBay and paypal if something goes Pete Tong. EDIT : Looking at images and number quoted on site and eBay it's the same seller anyhow....

The last two digits in the model number are related to intended market, check our guide in the wiki > G-Shock model number reference . DR normally seems to be used for all export models (i.e. not for Japan), sometime ER is also used. Not 100% sure what ER designates, certainly an export model...

Gone back to the seller and asked for a partial refund. They replied in the first instance but now waiting to see if they agree with my suggestion. Reckon they knew it was a knock off. If it came to it would probably toss the Oakley, however obviously somewhat annoyed to have been sold a duffer.

Cheers, often end up overlooking the old squares in favour of newer, flashier Gs. But they are great watches and of course where it all started :D
