Guess you could probably say the fact the crystals on the Giez, MR-G and some other higher end G-Shocks are exposed is more or less an admission from Casio these are less likely to be used as 'tool' watches that lower end models. Which stands to reason I suppose. Still not got the stopwatch...

At least you got the fees back. Very frustrating through :(

Maybe I'll look into boosting the volume next time. Have to say it seemed ok to me. Use Sony Vegas so might increase the level in there. Here's another G-Shock video for fans of the old school. A 45 minute overview of the Raysman, now that's an in depth review :D...

Not sure if it's a disadvantage as such. The bezel isn't as tall as on most G-shocks so doesn't offer the protection to the crystal, guess this is proven by the fact the crystal on this G is quite scratched.

Hmmm, if the finish to the bezel is no longer matt due to a rub suppose you could try to make it matt again somehow, not something I've ever tried. Worst case would be a new band or bezel if you're worried...
