T he watch should calibrate itself. Now remember that during the day there is a lot of interference so most watches recalibrate at midnight.

Good Morning WSmith7069, I don't know how much you know about G-Shocks but I can tell you just by the model number you typed that your watch is not atomic. All models which are ATOMIC will have the "Whiskey" identifier in the alphanumeric code for example "GW-9400-1CR THE RANGEMAN,"...

If you look at the picture closely you will notice the band adapters and the Nato strap he used as a band. The watch looks like a limited edition G-Lide. I miss these details first time around. Hope this helps out more.
