Further to the news we brought you about the upcoming release of the all new G-Shock GW-9300-1JF Mudman some of the first 'real world' pictures of the Mudman have appeared online. The pictures are courtesy of Japanese online retailer Watch-Tanaka who are retailing the GW-9300-1JF at 25725 Yen (USD$320 or GBP$196) a significant saving over the stated retail of 36740 Yen. Unfortunately Watch-Tanaka don't ship internationally but let's hope this will give a guide as to what sort of price the Mudman will be available for. So onto the pictures, it's certainly looks to be a worthy carrier of the Mudman mantle, should be a popular item. Of particular interest is the compass dial and carbon keeper. Enjoy :D

Casio US have announced three limited edition collaboration models to support the ongoing Japanese Earthquake relief efforts. All proceeds from sales go to help the Japanese people affected by one of the worst natural disasters in history. The three crsip white G-Shocks have been designed by long time G-Shock collaborator Eric Haze and feature the Hope Japan logo to the band and limited edition packaging. The Baby-G BLX-100 G-Lide range as announced in the Baby-G March 2011 New Releases has now hit stores in Japan, Hong Kong and the USA. The range features the G-Lide tidegraph functions in a stylish Baby-G package. Five models are available, the BLX-100-1JF (pictured), BLX-100-2JF, BLX-100-4JF and BLX-100-7JF and BLX-100-9JF. Retail on these ¥ 12,600 (USD$155 / GBP£95 ), although they are already available for far less on ebay, check our G-Shock Auction Watch section for the best BLX-100 prices.

June 2011 sees Casio Japan announce ten new Baby-G models. The highlight of the upcoming release according to G-Shockzone's resident Baby-G expert are the two "Love The Sea And The Earth" collaboration models, the BGR-3003K-2JR and BGR-300K-6JR, both are tough solar, the BGR-3003 is multiband 6. June 2011 is a big month for G-Shock new releases. Casio USA have announced the release of a diver inspired Baby-G, the BGA-123-7A2. The model features a hybrid stainless steel and resin link band along with a dive watch style face and bezel. The BGA-123-7A2 features all the normal Baby-G characteristics, 100m waterproof, shock resistant, LED backlight, world time, 5 daily alarms, stopwatch and countdown timer. The watch will be available from June in the USA at Tourneau, Nordstrom, select Macy’s stores and fashion boutiques and will retail at USD$160 (GBP£100).

Casio UK have announced they will be setting up an exclusive G-Shock 'Flash Store' in Selfridges, London for one month. The word renowned Selfridges department store is located on Oxford Street in central London, the busiest shopping street in Europe. Casio will be setting up a pop up retail space on the menswear floor from 18th May until 18th June. The store will feature timepieces from the Spring / Summer 2011 range including the Crazy Colours (or Crazy Colors), Origin, G-Rescue, Jason and Round collections. This will be the third G-Shock store in London following the recent opening of G-Shock East and G-Shock West.

May 2011 sees eight new Baby-Gs from Casio. The two strong themes this month are the 'summer pastel' colourways and square 'casket' cases. Feature wise all eight models are 100m waterproof and include all the normal Baby-G features. The square casket models all retail at 13650 Yen (USD$170 / £105 GBP) whilst the round models retail at 12075 Yen (USD$150 / £93 GBP). Casio America have announced the May 2011 release of three new Baby-G Ana-Digi models. The new Baby-G models are the BGA-116-7B which features a matte white band and bezel, the BGA-101-1B which features a gloss black band and bezel and the BGA-101-8B with a transparent grey band. All three G-Lide models feature tide graph functionality along with the normal G-Shock features, the models will be available at Macys, surf shops and selected fashion stores. Casio Japan have officially announced full details, release date and release prices for the upcoming EQW-A1000 Edifice series. This new Edifice line was first previewed at Baselworld 2011 and features Casio's new "Smart Access" system.
