Did you go for it? It is strong money although would assume most of the price has gone into the leather watch cover and case (which from memory are handmade in NZ). I'd certainly want to see more customisation to the watch itself for that sort of dough. Wonder how they'll sell...

Watch looks good, glad you're (mostly) happy. Not sure on that mark at all. Have had a couple with condensation problems (one from new!), however the condensation has only shown when the watch has gone from a warm to very cold environment and has appeared as obvious moisture right in the middle...

Had a quick look and can't see any US retailers with stock. Have read elsewhere the GW-9300 wasn't getting a US release at this time, back up by the Casio USA website listing the G-9300 and not GW-9300 > http://www.casio.com/products/Watches/G-Shock/ . Not sure why or whether this will change...

Might be tough to get a replacement green strap given Casio only normally keep limited (or no) stock of bands and bezel for such collaboration models. Not sure where you are in the world to adivse but we have some G-Shock spare parts suppliers listed in the wiki. Tiktox in the UK had them in...

Not seen any official word but would assume the G-9000 will be phased out over time. Don't recall Casio ever officially announcing model x y or z is being discontinued, guess it'll just stop being stocked eventually. Shame in a way, the G-9000 is a cool model and you'd think it'd still sell.
